The participants performed a series of MI-related trials across three sessions. These sessions comprised 40 trials, of which four different MI tasks were presented in random order (e.g., Reach → Twist → Lift → Reach → Grasp → Grasp → Twist → Reach → Lift → Reach). Each trial began with 3 s of fixation cross. The monitor then displayed a 4 s visual cue, followed by 3 s of letters indicating the ready state with a gray screen to eliminate the afterimage. The participants were then instructed to perform the imaginary movement for 5 s in the given order.","recording_modality":["eeg"],"senior_author":"Dong-Joo Kim","sessions":[],"size_bytes":646522651,"source":"openneuro","study_design":null,"study_domain":null,"tasks":["motorimagery"],"timestamps":{"digested_at":"2026-04-22T12:25:57.976037+00:00","dataset_created_at":"2022-02-11T05:01:21.503Z","dataset_modified_at":"2022-02-09T22:23:15.000Z"},"total_files":21,"storage":{"backend":"s3","base":"s3://openneuro.org/ds004022","raw_key":"dataset_description.json","dep_keys":["CHANGES","README","participants.json","participants.tsv","task_motorimagery_eeg.json","task_motorimagery_nirs.json"]},"nemar_citation_count":1,"computed_title":"Multimodal EEG and fNIRS Biosignal Acquisition during Motor Imagery Tasks in Patients with Orthopedic Impairment","nchans_counts":[{"val":18,"count":19},{"val":16,"count":2}],"sfreq_counts":[{"val":500.0,"count":21}],"stats_computed_at":"2026-04-22T23:16:00.306823+00:00","tags":{"modality":"Visual","pathology":"Other","type":"Motor"},"total_duration_s":null,"author_year":"Lee2022","canonical_name":null}}
